Surgery Policy

Food should be withheld the night before surgery after 6:00 pm. Water can be offered to your pet until he/she is dropped off . Your pet must be dropped off by 8:30 am. Please allow at least 10 minutes of your time for the surgery check in process. We require routine pre-anesthetic blood work to screen for potential health risks on any patients older than 18 months. Although the blood work is not required for patients under 18 months, it is highly recommended. Blood work can either be performed, in house, the day of surgery or sent days in advance to our outside lab. Surgeries cannot be scheduled to be performed the same day.

Drop Off Policy

We offer drop-off appointments Monday thru Friday. Patients will need to be current on their vaccines to take advantage of this service. Please call to schedule an appointment. There is no additional charge for drop off service.

Boarding Policy

All boarding animals are expected to be current on ALL required vaccines (Da2ppv, Bordetella, and Rabies for canines, FVRCPP and Rabies for felines) to insure the health of your pet and other pets that are boarding. Proof of current vaccines administered by a licensed veterinarian must be provided to us by the time of check-in or your pet(s) will be examined and vaccinated here at owner’s expense. Rose Animal Clinic is NOT responsible for any pet(s) causing injury to themselves due to stress, boredom, or thunderstorm anxieties. We are not here overnight and cannot prevent such events. In order to keep our facility as a parasite-free environment, we retain the right to treat any pet presenting with parasites at owners expense. For more information click here.

Appointment Policy

We offer appointments from 8:10 AM - 5:40 PM Monday thru Friday and 8:00 AM-12:40PM on Saturdays. If you are unable to schedule an appointment with your preferred doctor, rest assured, all of the doctors on staff have access to your pet’s record. Additional fee will be applied for walk in/work in appointments.

Payment Policy

To continue providing Excellence In Animal Care we expect payment when services are rendered. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover), personal checks, and cash. All cards and checks must be signed by the owner and provide photo i.d.
