Rose Animal Clinic

Pet Boarding & Daycare in Bentonville, AR

We are proud to offer pet boarding and daycare – all under the supervision of our veterinary team. By choosing us, you can rest assured that if your pet has a health problem while you are away, they will be in well-trained hands.

Pet Boarding & Daycare

Our Daycare is a great way for your pet to get socialization time and basic training. Daycare is a great way to have trained vets help your pet avoid the problems that go along with prolonged time at home, such as destructive behavior and house soiling. When scheduling boarding, please plan to bring an ample quantity of the food that your pet is normally fed at home, as well as any medications or favorite toys and bedding. This makes our home seem more like yours for them and helps reduce stress. Finally, please arrange to have contact numbers available for our staff to reach you during your pet’s boarding, in the event of any medical emergency.

For our boarding and daycare patients, we require the following:
  • Boarding Dogs: must be current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines
  • Boarding Cats: must be current on Rabies and FVRCP vaccines
  • Daycare: puppies must minimally have their first Distemper and Bordetella vaccines

Our Pet Boarding Facility

As we mentioned above, our boarding facility at Rose Animal Clinic is large and spacious. We have separate wings for boarded cats and dogs, which helps to keep your pet’s stay as stress-free as possible.

All of our kennels are indoors, in a facility with heat and air conditioning. Meals, water, and clean bedding are provided for each pet. You’re welcome to bring some of your pet’s favorite items from home as well, such as a blanket or some toys. Dogs receive outdoor walks daily if the weather permits. If your pet has any special dietary needs, or if you wish to bring your own food and feeding instructions, let us know!

Our boarding features include:
  • Large facility
  • Indoor kennels
  • Full-Service boarding for companion animals
  • Dog and cat wards
  • Easy check-in
Canine Requirements
Dogs must have a current fecal exam administered by a licensed veterinarian. This can be done by our clinic, or you can bring the paperwork from another vet’s office.

We require all dogs to have a Bordetella vaccination at least two weeks before being dropped off with us. Bordetella is an upper respiratory virus that is also referred to as “kennel cough.” While all boarded pets are vaccinated, we are a full-service animal clinic. An unvaccinated dog with Bordetella might be brought in as a patient, and this disease could easily spread to any unvaccinated dogs (including those in our boarding facility).

Other required vaccines for dogs include rabies, distemper, hepatitis and Parvo.

Dogs need to be up-to-date on:

  • Rabies
  • Bordetella (two weeks in advance)
  • Distemper
  • Hepatitis
  • Parvo
  • With a current fecal administered by a veterinarian
Feline Requirements

Cats also need a current fecal exam administered by a licensed veterinarian. Cats must be vaccinated for rabies, distemper and feline leukemia before boarding with us.

Cats need to be up-to-date on:

  • Rabies
  • Distemper
  • Leukemia
  • With a current fecal administered by a veterinarian
